The changes in the urban and suburban area of abandoned buildings, create spaces that if at first they are visibly crumbling in full after the appropriate restructuring does not seem the same. That 's what the City of Collegno (Torino) has done with what in times past was the Steam Laundry, now completely turned into a space for events that ended the third edition of CORTOMATTO, a competition for video makers out from habitual patterns ... the title says it all of the competition. In the race thirty films, as selected by regulation, only nine have been in contention. The competition organized by PrimissimoPiano, supported by the City of Collegno which put at stake the sum of one thousand euro to the winner in the audience, the Mayor and Alderman Silvana Accossato Quality of Life Paolo Macagno. Piedmont Region, Turin Province, and this year has also appended the Film Commission Torino Piemonte, all with their patronage, the latter has provided a prize for the best author in the Piedmont consists of one or more free screening in the works room "THE MOVIE" at the showings in Turin. PrimissimoPiano, added some new features this year, the first was a workshop for children and teens, a stimulating workshop in order to show how to build a set and you do a shoot with Dawn of the doll, the second is to compare authors and reviewing public criticism directed. The judges of the third edition of Cortomatto: Danilo Bruni D Center, Henry Deloitte Film Commission Torino Piemonte, Daniel Magog Suburban circle the meeting, Andrea Tomaselli teaches film. And here are Follemetraggi in the competition:
And 'love the real evil
AND ' LOVE THE REAL EVIL Emanuele Policante - V. Brini (mention of jury)
REMEMBER Andrea Zamburlin
LUCAUSE VS 2 PEACK Massimo Russo
THE CONTRACT Brunello Mout
THE SHOW Giorgio Tonella
HERES Andry Verga
QB Adrian Chiabrera - Comba Stefano - Stefano Mondino
GO CRAZY ABOUT COWS by Tommaso Magnano (first prize and honorable mention from the jury: to complete the work, the strength of the writing, the maturity with which the register is maintained as complex as that of black comedy)
GOOD NIGHT Riccardo Banfi
For my part I marked with a former fair also another title in the first set, but the competition does not provide for it, whereas the jury's decision is final and irrevocable decision that I agree, however, point out the work "heresy" with my words Special: The director has managed Andry Verga with two actors, a single location, describe in such a short space of time and a true story at the end of fourteen hundred with excellent photography, and script interpretation. For Stranattori gag played by the theater section, Emanuela Gatti received a special mention by the jury, however, the winner was the lovely Luisa Seravesi.
Now we just have to wait until the fourth edition of CORTOMATTO, no doubt full of news from those expressed minds inexhaustible Domenico Carlo Monreale and Saito, who conducted the entire evening.

50 HOURS review of Daniel Giordano
These days we talk of the Cannes Film Festival (Fr), with his guests, while in Turin (Italy) there is a competition for some time to say the least exhausting and beautiful at the same time. Who thought that after so many years, the competition "50 hours" born from the mind dell'infaticabile Alberto Carmigniani, passing the baton to the right job Enrico Venditti dynamic could continue to have an ever growing success, we are the sixth edition and as always spaces, which debuted back in 2006 Hiroshima Mon Amour. Competition was born to crew and could try and have the necessary space to express themselves satisfactorily in terms of video makers by showing their work to a wider audience. A contest tacked to express their creativity, their talent, in a definite time: five minutes of footage to be carried out in fifty hours total. The competitors at the start of this year there were about forty to find themselves in the delivery of finished products in twenty-seven. Very tough race. In those days you sleep, you write the script, with all the staff apart from the first shooting, they follow each other until the end of the short film, then move on to final assembly! A summing up of all this competition, the winners, a panel of industry experts well known nationally. This year sees the first place by a unanimous vote of those who decreed in its sole discretion: 50 BUG a thriller by Francesco Palmero, with a truly unexpected surprise in the room to the public. Second place was awarded to the debate slightly dramatic CONCERT FOR SMALL MINDS Joseph Glielmi, also winning an honorable mention for the actress. There was no lack of other terms starting from horror CLO Gianluca Argentero, no less thriller De Santis, Salvatore Minetti and with balance, in "removing hidden" voted by a card distributed to twenty people taken at random from the audience, Appendix nice and interesting introduction to the competition. All made in a setting that has nothing to envy to the great competitions. Michele could not miss the popular actor, who has served as in previous years in the role of presenter, now at home in this competition, while maintaining a pleasant rhythm to the task assigned.
Reveals a series of projections sprouting Panper, a cabaret duo who beyond his own name (I remember after one year since my review on them), have grown artistically, rejoicing with their hit gag. Now we have to wait until next year ... but in the meantime, the challenges continue with other competitions produced by Enrico Venditti increasingly compelling.

OPEN LETTER
Friday, May 6, 2011 could become a historic date for Turin, in what has been "invaded peacefully" at least one hundred thousand feathers of hens, but an eagle. Yes, because the feathers were those of valiant Alpini and their traditions. Three days guests in our city for the National Gathering, it's been 26 years and there they reappear. Alongside the rally, other events, just to mention one of the TOUR ITALY all of which have merged with it. The machine with its municipal workers has stood up well to the invasion of 500,000 people saw the event. Ten hours of endless parade through the streets of downtown, wonderful event in all respects, but as always there is the flip side, there will be factions happy and unhappy, this can not be anything to stop it, while hopes that the fact the reception by the people of Turin has been decent in respect of the "black pen on the hat" that our leading mountain!
A special praise is due to the Santa Maria Group Arabona because they have behaved so fantastic in terms of aggregation in relation to persons passing by in their camp (located near the Faculty of Architecture, for us only the Castello del Valentino Turin) in a special way those two funny guys and Giulio Del Rosario Napoleon Maurizio that unlike other stations, they have not closed the chosen area, even with extreme nonchalance did their utmost to provide supplies to passersby. A group of mountaineers that Abruzzo was enough throughout a simple answer to be in harmony with the party! That's the spirit that characterizes the Alpine Corps. Between skewers and a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, the hours passed in harmony and to end the wonderful evening honored us with his pass in front of us and stopping just enough a wonderful "jeep with the fur" irreplaceable "comrades" Alpini. All this at the end of the festival, with the regret in each of their end of the rally, bring it in with sadness to the house until the next meeting! Replicated next year in Bolzano.
