Mr. SGROOG, THE MUSICAL Review of Daniel Jordan
Under the Christmas holidays, it is necessary to present performances related to it. The Academy of Performing Arts has not missed the opportunity by staging a story that appeals to both children and adults written by Charles Dickens, turned into a musical by Mario Rostagno directed by Fabiana Gariglio, while the arduous task was to the choreographer Lucia Carnevale, combine the need to assist and fifty young del'età between seven and twenty-five. Together they relive the story of Ebenezer Sgrooge. Needless to talk about him, is a classic, everyone knows the story of her figure and how to interpret - the art of finance, pointing straight to the things which human beings can not do without - the look miserly and covetous for adding more and more questionable concept as you like, but the work is not so much curious phrase, or history, but change it into a musical comedy. The great Valdocco Theatre in Turin has received the invitation in the middle of the show debuted on 10 and 11 December 2011. Even before the opening of the crowd trod the box office to grab a ticket, a tail ending. The music selected by Paolo Gambino and Walter Orsanigo carrying the public imagination in the right mood, thanks to this scene of Joseph Garau performed in detail. The cast is eclectic - Mammoth - this time in a non-comic as usual we are accustomed to seeing them, but dramatic and intractable, that the role played by the excellent Mr. Scrooge Fabio Rossini and the other, the deceased partner Jacob Marley supported by Diego Casale, chained to wander forever because of his selfishness. The duo is joined by Daniela Freguglia who embodies the spirit of this story (unfortunately taken ill during the show). Since we can not mention all the artists for reasons of space because there are several people who have contributed to both the acting and singing of this great comedy, but we can say a few words in favor of the younger ones that despite the unfortunate incident have been able to maintain their place worthily continuing to act with care commendable. Surely this show deserves to be seen and should be repeated for those who failed to enter. Turin (Italy), December 12, 2011
