DELIRIUM FOR TWO review of Daniel Jordan

One room, two people, urban warfare, perhaps, ingredients for the show staged in the calendar of the review COURTYARD NIGHT, by Paul Trenta Associated Artists Group, the show DELIRIUM FOR TWO, is one of the minor works of Eugene Ionesco , along with Beckett and Adamov revolutionized French drama with the New Theatre, better known as Theatre of the Absurd, taking the name coined by the critic Martin Esslin, in the fifties, is enclosed with it a philosophical notion of absurdity of existence. The protagonists of the play Darius Amateis and Elizabeth Rubino, although the text can at times seem tedious, they have succeeded with their nonsensical dialogue (wanted by the script) has demonstrated their ability by lightening the narrative effect. A dialectical confrontation and absurd, grotesque, ridiculous comedy that makes a masterpiece of Eugene Ionesco's theater of the absurd in which: lack of communication, anger, shallowness reign supreme without any solution, where even death becomes an opportunity to reflect on what to do is happening, leaving the viewer of the show is not indifferent, in this case a purely reflective, with no solution to the problems.
