NAPLES millionaire, a text by Eduardo De Filippo's review of Daniel Jordan

Presented recently at the Theatre Housewife Cardinal of Turin, directed by Antonio Giuliano of the company I Melannurca. A performance in three acts brightly colored, sometimes strong, the scenario is the Naples during the war, noting the poverty of the inhabitants and how to pull a living and surviving hunger 'uselessto tell the play between these lines, this perhaps the mostbeautiful masterpiece written by the author of which remainsmemorable phrase: Love It's to be expected from changes' tonuttata! However, what should be said about the company IMelannurca, is that all actors (including new entries) entered in the dignified manner. Comedy in three acts, the companyproceeded in a steady crescendo, coming into harmony with the audience, showed no coincidence that the last act, one with theaudience, imparting bitterness that the protagonist has to his wifeAmalia, greedy unscrupulous, she repents realizing it was wrong,weeping over his mistakes, as if all this were not enough, enters the scene to give the coup de grace Spasiano accountant,showing up at his house with a drug unavailable in Naples all this,can save the life of her child, he concludes with the phrase: "Whofirst, or later, everyone has to knock on the door of another." The husband Gennaro Jovine (Antonio Giuliano), though touched byher deep sadness full of all these vicissitudes, infecting the audience forgives ... commuovendoli ... almost in tears! Not everyone ... but they convey these emotions, Melannurca I did!
