ADAM & EVE, THE DIARY review for DANIEL JORDAN

"Adam and Eve" the diary of Mark Twain's satirical review performed at the Herald Theatre Turin (Italy) by director Walter Revello (narrator Almighty), who likes to imagine the attraction between the sexes in the history of Genesis: Adam & Eve, even the first to have sex. With ironic version from the outset with the appearance of Adam (Maximum Chionetti, instead of Michael Giaquinto as ill), is full of books and then browse through a sports daily, alongside the obligatory mug of beer. Stereotype of the typical male! He rough-mannered, annoyed by the presence of Eve (to paraphrase the director with the face of Veronica Stilla) chattering to capacity, giving a name to all the things that appeared before, romantic, full of love for the only (un ) similar created from a rib of the man, it seems that all of this in the face, is intended to utter disaster. Yet, despite the diversity, Eva writes in his diary: "If I ask myself why I love him, I do not know an answer, but I do not really matter so much to know, I think it must be so" is not a ' religious work, much less blasphemous, but a story told. The director tells a story of snakes, nuts and apples, until the fall of Lucifer and his favorite of the two protagonists with it because of that forbidden fruit. In a dissertation on relationships between man and woman talking ironically almost with contempt, while talking you do not understand, in spite of everything they love, not by choice, as the only men in the world forced to live in quell'habitat called Eden. The choreography is of Etruscan Galante and Alec Chiri Tru dancing performed by the Company, proposed by the music of Walter Revello and Etruscan Galante make the comedy even more visible, example of balance between irony and mixed record haunts the attraction and romance.
