• First prize in the under U.S. / 2 for the following reasons - the technical and artistic quality, ability to use the split screen and assembly space in an effective way to tell a story well constructed and interpreted -
• Second Prize was awarded to the title - PURPLE MAGNET - for the following reasons - for his role in a consistent way the constraints and rules of the horror genre, with particular attention to the location and construction of atmospheres -
The jury wanted to give a special mention to the title - at MIDNIGHT IN PARIS under MELANCHOLIA THE TREE OF LIFE - for the irony and demonstrated the ability to improvise in dealing with the language of the docu-fiction, the various phases of short, playing cleverly with quotations and references the current movie.
Unfortunately due to time constraints, the Jury (all agree), were unable to express to the video maker in the audience a general view emerged not only that, but in almost all competitions so we quote verbatim: - Get in the game in a competition means writing , design and work are able to find the right balance between creative, production and technical limitations that characterize an audiovisual production. Limited resources should not necessarily correspond to approximate results, but an incentive to find original solutions through creativity, with the ability to get the best result from the instruments available and a good dose of self-criticism.
